Donald J. Trump Science Policy Collection
This collection hosts materials related to the science and technology policies, agencies, and professionals of the Donald J. Trump Administration (2017-2021). In 2019, President Trump named Dr. Kelvin Droegemeier as the director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP). Dr. Droegemeier, an atmospheric scientist who had most recently served as the Regents’ Professor of Meteorology at the University of Oklahoma, led OSTP from January 2019 through January 2021. During his tenure, he also chaired the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST), a federal advisory committee appointed by and advising the president on issues related to science, technology, and innovation.
The materials of this collection are sourced from Trump-era government websites and social media accounts and are reproduced here as part of the public domain.
