This collection consists of the newsletter, Baytown Jewish Community News, produced by the congregation which relayed upcoming events and activities to the community.
Founded in 1928, Congregation K'nesseth Israel has served the Baytown Jewish community for over 90 years. In 1992 the Texas Historical Commission awarded the building an historical marker. The congregation remains important to the South Texas Jewish community.
