Flyleaf: Friends of Fondren Library newsletter
This collection consists of the Flyleaf: The Friends of Fondren Newsletter, which ran from 1950-2011.
Founded a year after Fondren Library was built, The Friends of Fondren Library gathered together under a common interest to see the library grow and expand. The members early on decided to create the Flyleaf in order to increase membership and to acquire the funds necessary to increase and to improve the resources of the library. The Friends continue to promote growth for the library through events such as the Friends of Fondren Gala and receptions honoring Rice authors, composers, and editors.
The original materials are held by the Woodson Research Center in Fondren Library.
