Rice Women's Conference oral histories
This collection contains oral histories collected during the Rice Women’s Conference in 1996. The interviewees were Rice alumni with graduation dates from the 1930s to the 1970s. The conference was hosted by Women's Studies.
The program for the Study of Women and Gender at Rice University started in 1992 with Helen Longino guiding the establishment of the undergraduate major. In 2006 the program became the Center for the Study of Women, Gender, and Sexuality.
