Otto Eisenlohr Rice Institute letters
This collection consists of correspondence between Otto Eisenlohr and high school sweetheart Gainor Roberts with related news clippings. The letters reflect student life at Rice Institute. The letters were found in Eisenlohr’s home in 2002.
Otto Eisenlohr attended Rice Institute from 1915 to his graduation in 1921 followed by medical school in Dallas, Texas. He married Gainor Roberts a year prior to his graduation. Roberts died in 1938 and Eisenlohr remarried in 1942 to Nell Vaughn.
