Covid-19 Student Memories collection
This collection contains reflection entries submitted by students enrolled in Rice University courses during the spring and summer 2020 semesters.
A Rice employee was the individual with the first positive Coronavirus test in Harris County. Rice canceled classes the week of March 9th, 2020. As the situation became increasingly dire, the university moved all of its classes to remote delivery on March 23, 2020 for the remainder of the spring semester. The majority of Rice’s undergraduate students moved out of their residential colleges. Its effects were felt acutely by Rice University students.
The original materials are held by the Woodson Research Center in Fondren Library. Search the finding aid/inventory for the Covid-19 Student Memories collection, UA 0431.
