This collection consists of photographs taken by Celia Hutchison generally in an around Houston.
Celia Hutchison was a longtime Houston resident married to Sean Walters, a well-known musician and songwriter in the city’s folk-rock community. For over twenty years, Celia was a team member at Vitreo Retinal Consultants in Houston while pursuing her passion for photography. During the 1980s, she turned her love for photography into a small business, capturing everything from family vacations and portraits of friends and relatives to a rich portfolioof promotional photos and headshots for local bands in the area. Her work also included event photography, documenting both musical and non-musical occasions, adding a unique, intimate view to Houston’s vibrant cultural scene.
