Vietnamese American Heritage Foundation (VAHF) interviews
This collection contains oral history video interviews conducted in 2011 by the Vietnamese American Heritage Foundation. Many of the interviews are in Vietnamese with some in English. Transcripts were provided courtesy of Hieu Do, but have not been verified by a second reader.
The foundation produced these interviews as part of the 500 Oral Histories Project and donated the Texas based interviews to Rice’s Chao Center for Asian Studies. These interviews have been donated to universities in groups by the location where the interviews took place. The foundation aims to preserve the history of Vietnamese Americans in the United States for future generations.
The original materials are held by the Woodson Research Center in Fondren Library. Search the finding aid/inventory for the Vietnamese American Heritage Foundation Oral History Interview collection, MS 647.
