Houston Area Rainbow Collective History (ARCH) oral histories
This collection contains oral history interviews conducted by the Center for the Study of Women, Gender, & Sexuality at Rice University as a result of a community research project. Students conducted the interviews earning course credit and prepared for them by researching their intended subjects for a month.
Houston Area Rainbow Collective History (ARCH) sponsored the formation of the collection. The organization at the time was composed of a seven member consortium whose members intended to preserve LGBTQIA+ history and improve intellectual access to materials.
The original materials are held by the Woodson Research Center in Fondren Library. Search the finding aid/inventory for the Houston ARCH (Houston Area Rainbow Collective History) collection, MS 569.
