Contemporary Arts Museum Houston Videos
This collection consists of two art lectures from the 1980s and 1990s. The first lecture was led by American painter Robert Colescott. The second lecture is by former curator, Lynn Herbert, for the exhibit “Texas Draws” featuring 17 artists.
The Contemporary Arts Museum of Houston was founded in 1948 with the intent to present and highlight the role of innovation in modern art, by doing demonstrations, exhibits, and lectures. The museum continues to engage the public with their educational programs, publications, and online presence.
