Ann Marie Stewart Turner letters
This collection contains letters between Anne Marie Stewart Turner and her husband James, a Confederate soldier in the Civil War. It also includes correspondence to family members and photographs.
Ann Marie Stewart Turner and her husband James Turner were both residents of Galveston, Texas. They were married on May 25, 1859. James Turner was a Confederate soldier in the U.S. Civil War and was killed in 1864 while fighting at Petersburg, Virginia.
