Mary J. Bobo Confederate scrapbook
This collection consists of the Confederate scrapbook of Mary J. Bobo, containing clippings from the Nashville Banner on the history and battles of the American Civil War, principally, the battles at Murphreesboro and Chickamauga.The scrapbook also has death notices of Confederate soldiers and more famous individuals like Colonel William Campbell Preston Breckinridge. It also includes reprints of Civil War and post-Civil War poetry and songs.
Little information is available on the creator of this scrapbook, Mary J. Bobo. At one point in her life, she lived in Tullahoma, Tennessee.
