John H. Wright collection of U.S. Civil War and related ephemera collection
This collection consists of a printed speech, Confederate currency, and a treasury warrant donated by John H. Wright (1906-1990).
Wright attended Central High School in Houston and was a 1928 Rice graduate. He worked for Star Engraving Company and Taylor Publishing Company and was an avid collector of Confederate printed materials.
